Must-Know Maven: Kimberly Prince Scott

Kimberly Prince Scott is a pioneering figure in the fashion industry, with over four decades of experience in the financial sector. Kimberly’s journey as a woman with slender legs fuels her innovative vision for the Skinny Leg Tribe, a brand dedicated to crafting bespoke Italian leather boots for petite and slender calf women.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and now based in Dallas, Texas, Kimberly’s
passion for fashion evolved from a personal struggle with ill-fitting boots. Her brand provides the ultimate solution with made-to-measure boots that marry comfort, elegance, and an impeccable fit. The concept of the ‘Tribe’ stems from her ambition to foster a community that promotes body positivity and self-acceptance, challenging the rigid beauty standards of today’s society.

Kimberly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Communication with a focus on Human Rights from Southern Methodist University. Her professional journey spans from international banking and treasury for financial services providers to strategic treasury roles for notable healthcare institutions.

Kimberly is prepared to transform the narrative for skinny-legged women nationally. Her mission is not just about selling boots but also about inspiring confidence, celebrating individuality, and empowering women to embrace their unique beauty. Through the Skinny Leg Tribe, Kimberly is rewriting the fashion rulebook and encouraging her Tribe to feel gorgeous about their appearance.
